DuProprio offers tools that will help you set your asking price. You will be able to determine a fair price for your property and be able to justify it to potential buyers. These appraisal assistance tools can be accessed from the My DuProprio dashboard.
Appraiser+1
Included in our most comprehensive package2, the Appraiser+ service includes the Real Estate Data Collection report, as well as a telephone consultation with an appraiser.
1. The Real Estate Data Collection report, prepared by an appraiser, contains:
- Up to nine sold properties;
- A suggested selling price range;
- Information on the transactions that have taken place in the same area.

2. If you have received the Real Estate Data Collection report (and the Appraiser+ service is part of your package), now is the time to make an appointment with a professional appraiser, who will help you interpret the information in the document.

Directory of sold properties in your area3
Available in two of our packages4, this interactive tool lets you consult, in real time, a list of properties similar to yours that have sold in your area. The properties are automatically selected according to the date of sale, location, type of property, year of construction, living area and size of the property.
Search for properties for sale
Finally, you can view properties similar to yours that are currently for sale on our site by clicking on Comparables for sale, in the My selling price section. Most of these properties are available with the sale price, photos and a complete description, to help you compare as thoroughly as possible.

The selling price is a critical aspect of marketing your property. We very strongly recommend waiting until you’ve consulted your appraisal assistance tool before setting the price and requesting that your listing be posted on DuProprio.com.
