Every day, over 413,000 subscribers receive our email alerts. This tool presents new listings, properties with a new price and properties with an upcoming open house. These listings are selected according to the search criteria set by the buyer upon registration.

Thanks to email alerts, buyers who are interested in your type of property are notified when you take certain actions relating to your sale. 

Posting your listing

Your property will automatically be included in the email alert the day after your listing is put online.

Lowering your price

“New Price” alerts are sent to potential buyers who subscribe to our email alerts as well as to buyers who’ve put your property in their “favourites” and who’ve agreed to receive notifications. An alert is created every time the following criteria are met: 

• The price drop is at least 2% below the lowest price posted in the last 8 months;
• The change has been made at least 7 days after the last price reduction;
• It has been applied to an asking price of over $50,000.

Holding an open house 

Potential buyers are advised when you hold your first open house, which helps create some buzz for the event. Emails regarding any subsequent open houses are sent only to buyers who’ve put your property in their “favourites” and who’ve agreed to receive email notifications.

Updating and repositioning your listing

This option is available in in our most comprehensive package¹ or as one of our Individual services‍. Updating and repositioning your listing offers several benefits, including appearing in an email alert as though your property was a new listing.
